The Mangalam Estate in the Assam region of India is considered a "youngster' in the region with being less than 50 years old. It was founded in the 1970"s using new farming techniques that allow the Mangalam estate to have some of the highest per hectare yields in the region.
Golden Mangalam is a "Tippy" Assam that will have a large number of younger leaves making it a wonderful and complex Assam black tea. Brew this tea a few times and see how it evolves with each brewing.
