Imperial Grade Laoshan Black is the highest grade version of the already high grade Classic Laoshan Black.
Hailing from the Liang family's intimate farm, this tea undergoes a meticulous journey entirely overseen by the Liang family themselves, ensuring top-tier quality at every step of the growing and processing process. Setting it apart from the Classic Laoshan Black is its unique origin in the smallest, most delicate tips of the tea plants. Each leaf is hand-selected during the picking process, setting aside only the finest leaves for this exclusive small batch of tea.
Beginning its growth in the shelter of a greenhouse during winter and early spring, this tea is then bathed in direct sunlight until the late April to early May picking season. The result is a tea that unfolds as wonderfully sweet and thick, revealing delightful notes of cane sugar and chocolate. Considered one of our personal favorites, this tea embodies the dedication and expertise of the Liang family, delivering an exceptional and flavorful experience sip after sip.
